Just like jewels handed from one generation to the next, the love and passion to create jewellery was handed from one generation to the next in the Zeidan family and continues to do so today. It was in 1947 when Abdo R. Zeidan opened up his doors in the old gold souks of Beirut. A man with a passion for jewellery that surpasses him today and lives on his children. Described as a man with vision for beauty and the ability to create exquisite pieces, Abdo R. Zeidan’s work can be seen in the work of his children who all went on to continue their father’s legacy.

In 1971, Michel Zeidan, his youngest, founded his own business, Michel Zeidan Jewellery, a traditional jewellery establishment that specializes in designing and manufacturing exquisite necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, and even more. In parallel, Michel opened his first brick and mortar in the Sultanate of Oman, called Ruwi Jewellers.

Since its beginnings, business flourished, a result of its unwavering commitment to quality in its craft and creation of products of excellence in design, workmanship, and raw materials. The designers take great pride in choosing only the finest stones, gems, and diamonds to create a final product that is unique and of the highest quality. Michel Zeidan’s design aesthetic is defined by continuity. His whimsical designs travel through time from the bustling streets of the gold souks and soulful, oriental designs to more modern effervescent creations, every piece created carefully handcrafted and always unique.
