Dhofar Insurance is registered as an Omani Public Joint Stock Company incorporated in the Sultanate of Oman on the 5th of September, 1989. The Company’s principal activity comprises of writing all classes of Insurance. The Company is in compliance with all the articles of code of corporate governance for joint stock companies through transparency, disclosure and participation.
Dhofar Insurance was established with a paid up capital of RO 3,000,000 ($8,000,000) and now represents one of the largest insurance company in Oman, in terms of premium and capital, with paid up capital of OMR 10 million.
