Ghasham International RP Tech was established in 1997 by RP Kunhammad and has since grown and expanded over the last 25 years into a multidivisional organization with diverse business units.. From the very beginning, and the company’s history has been characterized by innovative drive and social commitment. Exponential growth throughout 1997s, we established regionally as an integrated commercial and service organization, positioning as one of the leading business enterprise in GCC. Today, we dominate many market segments in Qatar.
We are the Authorized distributers of Samsung Mobile and Premium Dealer of Ooredoo in Qatar. The company opened its first international sales office at Dubai in 2003. The biggest share came from its business in Qatar, which developed rapidly since the first branch office was established in Doha city in 1997. Early links were also forged with other countries in Asia including Dubai, China, and India in 2007-2009. Ghasham International W.L.L has evolved into a leading global GSM marketing, a company which has pioneered many an innovation in the global market. OUR JOURNEY
Ghasham international incorporated in 1997 with the primary goal of becoming a reference in doing business in the field telecommunication and marine in the State of Qatar for many years to come.
1997 – INCEPTION
Incorporated as a technical solution provider for Mobile phones & accessories in Doha – State of Qatar. Marketing activities were started as an integral part.
2004 –EXPANSION
Expanded Business Operations to Dubai – UAE. The Expansion phase includes owning outlets in Hypermarkets & Elite Malls across UAE.
2005 –ASSOCIATION
Earned the status of Premium Dealer for OOREDOO. The Operations in China was evolved as success.
2006 – GROWTH
The Chain of retail outlets was increased with more concentration in Malls and Hypermarkets. Stand alone outlets were increased rocketing to 18 stores.
2007-PIONEER
Attained the No 1 Premium Dealer status for Ooredoo and a Prime supplier of Smart phones in Qatar with rigorous efforts and commitment
2010 – MARINE SECTOR
An attempt to step into a new market and excel was the motto behind. Ghasham Marine Services aimed to become a one stop solution for all Marine services.
2015 -E-COMMERCE
An E-Commerce platform for existing business was an ideal choice to elevate the business to the next level and was achieved by www.rpshopee.com
2016-SAMSUNG
Evolved as an Authorized Distributor for SamsungSmart phones, Gadgets & Accessories along with authorized service centers in Qatar.
2018-RETAIL SECTOR
The chain of stores rouse to 35 retail outlets, 26 ooredoo outlets, 16 Mobile vansales and 9 Accessories vansales covering 45% of Mobile phone market across all cities in the State of Qatar
2019- PRESENT CO-BRANDING
Ghasham International associated with OOREDOO opened Exclusive Co-branded oulets targeting the Network services and Bill Payment Centres throughout Qatar
